Our Peruvian workshop

Diamanta, legally known as Diamanta SAC, is our handknitting and crocheting workshop situated in the picturesque highlands of Ayacucho, Peru. The name "Diamanta" is a combination of "Manta," representing our handworkshop, and "Dia," Solid's social organization dedicated to empowering women and families in the community. Through our efforts, we contribute to the economic empowerment of over 200 knitting ladies of all ages.

Handmade!

At Crafts by Solid, we champion traditional craftsmanship. In our Peru workshop, everything is handmade by skilled artisans, either using hand-operated domestic knitting machines (gauge 6 and gauge 3) or knitting by hand. This approach allows our knitters to focus on quality, precision, and the love they pour into every garment. No heavy machinery—just pure dedication to crafting perfection.

We specialize in tailormade production, working closely with our clients to bring their visions to life. From conceptualization and design to sampling, production, and packaging, we handle every aspect of the process according to our clients' specifications.
